Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are welcomed and needed at House of Hope.  For those who wish to work at The House, an interview with either Executive Director Bobbi Tschirgi or Program Director Myrra Alo can be scheduled.  

We need volunteers to serve on behalf of House of Hope at Palos Verdes Resale in Lomita.  Contact Chuck MacKinnon at (310) 521-9209 for more information.

Food shopper

Tree Trimming

Drivers to take clients to medical appointments and court appearances

On call helpers for special events

Knitting & Crochet Needles; Yarn

Toiletry Items (toothpaste, tooth brushes, soap, shampoo and conditioner, sanitary pads)

Food Items (Fresh Produce is especially welcome)

Cleaning Supplies  

Paper goods

Towels, sheets and blankets (always needed)

Optometry services

Single Beds 

Dressers

Area rugs

“Energy Saver” refrigerators

Gardening tools

Handyman tools

Kitchen utensils

Sports equipment (volleyball, softball)

Training videos, materials (recovery, life and work skills)
